![]() JB: Several fantasy football prognosticators have Griffin as a top-three play this week against the Giants. If quarterback Brandon Weeden can actually get the ball to his own receivers (see Tony Romo), Gordon will have a big day. JB: I'd say that Cleveland did pretty well in picking Gordon in the supplemental draft and getting him to pan out so quickly. ![]() I expect Gordon to beat the Colts deep for a lengthy score. ![]() The Colts have surrendered 10 passing touchdowns in five games. He's got an enviable matchup this week playing in a dome at Indianapolis. HC: The rookie has come on strong the last two weeks with 181 yards and three touchdowns. And with quarterback Tony Romo's penchant for throwing balls to the other team, Dallas could stuff the ball in Jones' stomach 30 times Sunday. Murray's absence creates a major hole at the position. Now, he faces a Carolina run defense that got pounded by journeyman Andre Brown in Week 3. He produced after replacing Murray last week with over 100 yards and a score. HC: With DeMarco Murray likely out, Jones is a fantastic option this week. There are worse options out there, like say, Blaine Gabbert. Playing the Titans, and their leaky pass defense, though, I'd lean with starting him. Justin Barney: He's a boom-or-bust player every week. Fitzpatrick is a safe bet for 250 yards and multiple touchdowns. However, he's facing a Tennessee defense that is 29th against the pass and has allowed 13 passing scores in six games. Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Michael Vick and Philip Rivers are all off. Hays Carlyon: The stars on byes this week are many. Times-Union reporters Justin Barney and Hays Carlyon go beyond the obvious to spot fantasy football trends before they develop.
